Girl Scout cookies sales are done.   I will be sending off packages this week.

Jason completed his ISAT testing this week.  He's working on a Revolutionary War reenactment at school.  His character is the silversmith.  He really seems to take to it.

Ellie continues with violin.  She will be participating in the Suzuki festival next weekend.  Workshops, craft items and hands on learning opportunities.

Hope all is well with you.

Summer and School

Summer and School don't necessarily go together. After taking my final last night, we are having a pajama day. I have gotten some much needed cleaning done around the house, but the kids.... well they have been honing their video game skills. Tomorrow we tackle life.

This week, we're studying the American Revolution. Not very original, I know. But a needed module. I doubt they really cover the meaning Independence day in school.

Captain Chaos enjoyed College for Kids, even if he did complain about going every day. When it was time to go, he always had a smile from ear to ear.

Princess Jelly Bean on the other hand has a very full social schedule to maintain. Since I've been working on class projects the last two weeks, she has really suffered. I will be glad when she is old enough to manage her own schedule... I think. :)

The Naked Chef

I am attempting to bake from scratch again. Elle loves to help. She had just gotten out of the bath and wanted to help with the latest cake installment, but she didn't have any clothes on. I asked her to put on clothes, but she said "But I like to bake nak-ed!"
